COUNTER-EVOLUTION
Your past forms come back to fight you.

You are a small creature that evolves. Each era you collect resources, mutate… and in the next era, clones of your old self come to hunt you down, with the exact build you had before. To survive, you have to evolve faster than yourself.

How it works

• Collect bones, crystals and sap during each 60-second era.
• Mutate: pick 1 of 3 mutations. Every mutation has an advantage and a drawback. The resources you collected decide which mutations show up.
• Face your past: in the next era, 3, then 5, then 7 clones attack you, with your previous build (without your new mutation).
• Defeat the Chimera: the final boss cycles through every form you’ve been during the run.

Combat: provoke, dodge, counter
Enemies telegraph their attacks and stay vulnerable for a moment afterwards. Dash at the very last moment, then strike back: the closer the dodge, the bigger the damage, up to x3.

Four eras, random order after the Meadow

• Meadow: a calm start against larvae.
• Ice Age: slippery ground, freezing cold, stay close to the campfires.
• Volcano: lava pools that keep growing.
• Swamp: water that slows you down, thick fog.

10 mutations
Shell, Gigantism, Spikes, Long legs, Regeneration, Fur, Acid spit, Fireproof skin, Wings, Camouflage. Every build changes the way you play… and the way your clones fight you.

Controls

• PC: WASD / ZQSD to move, F to attack, Space to dodge, Esc to pause
• Mobile / touch: D-pad, ATTACK and DASH buttons
